Cesium lithium borate crystal CsLiB6O10 (CLBO) is a new type of nonlinear optical borate crystal with excellent nonlinear optical properties in the ultraviolet band. CLBO crystals have nonlinear optical properties such as sufficiently large nonlinear coefficients, short absorption edges, large angles, and spectral and temperature bandwidths, and are very suitable for the generation of second-order and high-order harmonics. They are excellent materials for the preparation of ultraviolet and deep ultraviolet all-solid-state lasers.

Cesium lithium borate crystal CsLiB6O10 (CLBO) is a new type of nonlinear optical borate crystal with excellent nonlinear optical properties in the ultraviolet band. CLBO crystals have nonlinear optical properties such as sufficiently large nonlinear coefficients, short absorption edges, large angles, and spectral and temperature bandwidths, and are very suitable for the generation of second-order and high-order harmonics. They are excellent materials for the preparation of ultraviolet and deep ultraviolet all-solid-state lasers.


  • Optical Properties

1) Cut-off wavelength up to 180nm

2) Relatively large effective NLO coefficient(about two times that of KDP)

3) Wide angular bandwidth and small walk-off angle

4) The VUV output at 193nm is available by phase matching

5) Short grow cycle and large size.
